BAĞIŞTAŞ - 1 DAM & HPP

During a consultancy period in the field of hydropower plant construction, support was provided for the AKKÖY HEPP project in Yağlıdere (Giresun Province). The construction was carried out by YPM Construction on behalf of AKSA Holding.

Additionally, technical consultancy was provided for the hydropower projects Doğançay-1 and Doğançay-2 on the Sakarya River. These projects were managed by AKFEN Construction.

In an earlier period, management duties at Veyseloğlu Construction were undertaken. One of the major undertakings during this time was the execution of fill works for the Serban Dam body in Afyonkarahisar Province, subcontracted by Baner Construction.

The Serban Dam is a clay-core rockfill dam with the following technical specifications:

• River: Serban
• Purpose: Irrigation
• Construction Start: 1991
• Dam Type: Clay-core rockfill
• Body Volume: 333,000 m³
• Height from riverbed: 30 m
• Reservoir volume at normal water level: 3.09 million m³
• Surface area at normal water level: 476 ha
• Irrigation area: 721 hectares
